About Us

The Laurahope Care and Rescue Foundation (LHCRF) is a non-governmental, faith-based humanitarian and charity organisation headquartered in Nigeria. We are dedicated to reducing the hardships faced by vulnerable populations through direct relief services, rehabilitation, empowerment and community partnerships.

Our programmes include food distribution, medical and psychosocial care, rehabilitation for addiction, support for widows and the elderly, vocational training and targeted rescue operations for street and vulnerable children. We work collaboratively with government, civil society and private partners to promote sustainable change.

Rescue & Immediate Relief: Identify and rescue vulnerable individuals and provide dignified relief including food, shelter, medical attention and psychosocial support.
Care & Rehabilitation: Provide ongoing care and rehabilitation for the elderly, widows, persons recovering from addiction, and rescued children.
Empowerment & Opportunities: Equip beneficiaries with education, vocational training, and livelihood support for self-reliance.
Community Engagement: Build partnerships, raise awareness and advocate for protective policies.
Holistic Support: Integrate physical, mental and economic wellbeing in all programmes.
